Automotive Technician Wanted aka we are currently seeking an experienced, energetic, clean-cut, automotive mechanic / entry level technician for our Plainfield, IL, auto repair shop.
We currently have an immediate opening available for the best candidate(s). Our automotive repair shop is located over at 12052 S Naper Plainfield Rd Plainfield, IL 60585.
Our automotive repair shop is a well-established location that has been open for business for many, many, many years. It is a 8 bay shop that averages great pay for the right people (team).
Our automotive mechanic shop is ramping up fast. Our customer base growing rapidly. We need mechanics not part changers that can diagnose and process vehicles quickly and efficiently! The minimum requirements for available position(s) for mechanic MUST possess the following:
Automotive Technician Wanted In Plainfield, IL, Requirements –
• Minimum of 2 year of full-time experience as a proven, successful, performing technician
• Knowledge on all vehicles, complete automotive repairs, we work on most vehicles
• Good diagnostic skills (no “parts changers”), good with multi-meter, scanners
• Having your own professional tools and tool box a plus but not required
• ASE Certifications not necessary but are preferred, knowledge is key
• Willingness to complete training courses occasionally throughout the year
• Must be able to work quickly and efficiently under pressure during time warranted situations
• Experience w/machinery used for repairs (brake lathe, tire mounting, tire balancing, machines)
Entry Level Technician In Plainfield, IL, Requirements –
• Minimum of 1 year of full-time experience as a proven, successful, performing technician
• Having your own professional tools and tool box is a plus but not required
• Willingness to complete training courses occasionally throughout the year
• Must be able to work quickly and efficiently under pressure during time warranted situations
